I know they have a different muffler but have no idea if they can be interchanged. I very much doubt it and you couldn't be sure that would make the difference. If money is no object you can go pickup an HRC216 equipped with the GXV engine.

View More16/06/2005 The silencer for my muffler is a hardened steel screen that's sort of cone shaped and goes into the muffler. YES it does make it quieter and makes it sound smoother, less Harley popping sound, and also stops the back-firing on throttle down.
